8. Frank Barone reference
I love it. Peter Boyle's character Frank Barone in Everybody Loves Raymond was one of my favorites of all time. I rank him right up there with Archie Bunker, Sam Malone, Frank Burns, etc.

18. I would agree
about the Frank Barone character and Peter Boyle's excellent portrayal. For shame that he never got his Emmy. May he rest in peace. O8)

15. From the Laramie newspaper Boomerage...
‘We’ll invest in you’

By Eve Newman
Boomerang Staff Writer

http://www.laramieboomerang.com/news/more.asp?StoryID=107784

With music echoing, Pistol Pete waving the giant flag, cameras flashing and 8,500 people on their feet, presidential candidate Barack Obama made a rock star entrance last night in Laramie. In fact, even the rock stars in the audience were cheering for him.

In front of a crowd at the University of Wyoming Arena-Auditorium that had been waiting for hours to hear him speak on the night before the Wyoming caucus, Obama defended his notions of hope, called for change in the Washington way of thinking and told the audience to fight for what may not seem possible.

Included in that crowd — and garnering its own share of attention — was the rock group OK Go, which pushed back the start time of its concert last night to accommodate the rally.

“We have enough money, ideas, energy and inspiration. What’s been missing is the American people trying to take this country back. If you decide, then we cannot be stopped,” he said.

Shanna Bellman of Laramie said she came to the event to see Obama with her own eyes, not through the eyes of the media.

“He definitely won me over, and I’m a Republican,” she said.

The doors to the rally opened at 4 p.m., more than three hours before Obama’s appearance. By 5 p.m., a line three deep stretched around the block and kept growing. Campaign volunteers ushered spectators into the lower sections of the arena, opening up new sections only as all the seats filled.

Obama spoke earlier in the day in Casper. Sen. Hillary Clinton also spoke yesterday in Cheyenne and Casper, as both presidential hopefuls are stumping for Wyoming’s 12 presidential delegates in their tight primary race.

13. I'm a Hillary supporter but I love
that second picture of yours. With Obama walking out and shaking hands. He looks so alive. It's a beautiful shot and says alot about what is right with our country and our party in a time when a lot of people are fighting needlessly. :)

And by the way, the GLBT caucus in Houston picked Obama over Clinton. In Obama's letter he used the word "marriage."
