5. Hillary has made such a big deal about Obama's "lack of experience,"

(all he has is a speech, after all), so why would she ask a guy who she says is even less qualified than the Republican candidate to be the person who'd be second in line? Wouldn't McCain be a better match, if all that "experience" (which McCain has way more of than she does) matters so much?

In any event, Bill would certainly be the *real* vice president. The elected one, whoever that might be, would be relegated to attending state funerals and dedicating aircraft carriers. Why would anybody want the job?

If he loses big there it might be worth considering. Otherwise I am opposed.

I don't want him to get the nomination if he can't win, and I am afraid she will take this to the convention, keep up her attacks, and leave him so weakened that he can't win in November, which would probably give her another chance in 2012, as long as she can keep it close enough to get away with it. That's what her victories the other night accomplished, giving her a credible case to stay in and weaken him.

If she manages to win PA big and keep attacking him all the way to the convention, maybe he ought to call her bluff and take the VP slot, if she agrees in exchange that she won't run again in 4 years if she loses. That way, it becomes a win-win for him: either he becomes VP or he is all but inevitable as the nominee in 4 years, and in the meantime he can use the foreign relations committee in the senate to bolster his credentials.

Give him another term in the Senate and a chance to show he can do something besides run for higher office and he would be worth considering.

Right now, he's green as grass and our country needs experienced leaders.
