The Ohio Valley Blizzard, four days after the primary
It's Saturday, walking around the neigborhood and taking pictures of the aftermath of this crazy late winter storm.

Here's a diehard:

1. We're working the Cinci Home & Garden Expo right now.
Took 4 hours to get here yesterday from just north of Dayton. People are just starting to trickle in. Hopefully we can break even tomorrow.

3. At the Convention Center, downtown?
:scared:

It was eerie, how empty the city was last night. Roads were clear because everybody just stayed home, all cozy and snowed-in. I gotta give props to the plow drivers.

7. Yeah, at Duke. We could hear the plows going all night from the hotel.
It was pretty freaky. Nice & sunny now. tomorrow we sled!

4. Why did I click on your profile?
I'm in so much trouble. Now I'm going to have to share it with my other boutique junkie friend. Plus, I need shoes for my little one. Sending you a PM.

16. Just wondering --
why aren't you at the Dayton Home and Garden show this weekend? It's closer to you.

Also, are any people at the show? We're still on Level 3 here in Montgomery County.

18. The Junior League has a Garden Market
with a bunch of boutiques in a separate area, which is really our audience. We do the Holiday show they put on in Dayton every year.

It was Level 3 down here until about 2-3 pm. People started trickling in (vendors too) and now it's fairly busy.

9. Our wage peace not war sign succumbed to the ...
weight of the snow...

We have about a foot and a half on the ground now with more coming all the time...

10. Any chance you could get photos...
... or point to a site that has them? We've got over a foot, and you're up north. Isn't it still snowing there?

It's so hard to believe it's March.

11. Here in the Muskingum Valley
we're under a Level 3 emergency. Technically, only emergency vehicles are allowed on the roads, although I see an occasional road warrior. The snow is still falling.

We had about 18 inches in Granville! I'm so glad that the Obama gang is not trying to canvas in this stuff. They got out just in time. Peace and love, Kim Hussein

14. What a stunning picture...
Nothing happens like that here...

I can imagine it's very disruptive...

But how beautiful!

I love the trees covered in snow, like the evergreen across the street here...

Thanks for posting!

I'd trade my blizzard for your sunshine. :-)

It's not that bad... and it is pretty cool, in a freakish late-winter way!

22. I'm buried here just streets east of Cleveland...
I could barely get the back screen door open to let the dogs out. They were trying to clear a path to pee, and could barely move, it's up to their necks. And they're Dalmations and a big hairy Terrier, no little pooches here.

But it's beautiful. Nothing prettier than pristine snow.
