Poor, Poor, Pitiful Hillary!
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 06:16 PM by Stephanie

Poor, poor, pitiful Hillary. This entire election process is just not fair! And everyone is so darn mean! That Powers woman, calling her monster off the record. Off with her head! That bad man Obama, asking horrible prying questions about her tax returns. He's just like Ken Starr, a big bad old meanie! The caucus systems are not fair to Hillary, not anywhere, but especially in Wyoming and Texas, where they are extra unfair. They were fair when Bill was running but not anymore. Everyone piles on Hillary because she's a woman, too. Like when the men ganged up on her in the debates! That was so mean! Now the Canadians are telling tales out of school, which was supposed to be private! And did you notice that journalists always ask her the first question? It's like a conspiracy against her, just like before! Campaigning is so HARD sometimes she could just CRY. Like on SNL when nobody offered her a pillow. And all those horrible liberals are ganging up on her, those evil ones like Michael Moore and Keith Olberman, they are beyond the pale - they used to be good but now they're very very bad. Also, she ran unopposed in FL and MI and now they want to take that away from her! It's so UNFAIR! And what about the fact that Obama has more money to campaign with than she does, and she had to use her OWN money that Bill got from Dubai! And most of it was gone before most of the primaries were even run! It's not right! It's not fair! No wonder she's losing!

I'm trying to remember all the other ways that Hillary's been mistreated and the deck's been stacked against her and everyone gives everyone else a free pass except for poor Hillary, the pitiful victim of horrible mistreatment. Help me out?

Why is everybody always picking on me?

34. How dare he try to steal her nomination??
It's her turn, dammit, HER TURN!

Didn't he see that she had the nomination all locked up in December? All the media said so & went on & on about all the polls showing she was so far ahead of everone else! Howard Dean is also a big fat meanie for insisting on holding the primaries & caucuses anyway instead of just holding her coronation January 1!

5. it would be funny
altho totally unrealistic, if hillary were to become an independent. i'll bet the democrats would hit their knees to kiss her ass so fast it would feel like an earthquake.
in all probability the democrats have already blown it this year. i don't see either candidate moving from their position. too many obama supporters won't vote for hillary, and the same can be said for many of hillarys supporters. i know obama will never get my vote, i'll write in edwards in november if obama is the nominee.

58. Why?
I mean what issue does he not stand for that you feel so morally opposed to him that you would prefer to break the party?

I'll admit, the reason that I would not vote for Hillary is due to her Iraq War policy, which I believe will endanger lives
and encourage the war. Leaving combat troops and bases until 2012 while reducing troops is not the same as withdrawing,
and I see it as a dangerous and unreasonable war policy.

Saving that, I can't see a reason not to vote for Hillary.

Why can't you vote for Obama?

14. LIke when they call her "Clinton" instead of "Hillary"
That is like, some sort of bias or something. Hillary has NAMED HERSELF Hillary for a good reason! She wants to be the one-named candidate, like Cher, if she was a candidate, not the last-named candidate who has the same name as her former husband who some people might have a negative reaction to if they thought about it so please call her by her NAME of HILLARY and stop being so UNFAIR to her!

Right on the money; I am so sick and tired of her whining and I am sick and tired of the Clintons period. I cannot wait until Obama ties up the nomination and this will be over with....or will it? Will she continue to try and wriggle something out? The DLC types never quit. She thinks she has the game rigged in PA with Ed Rendel pimping her all over the state, I would watch that very closely for them pulling some kind of trick. Rendel is aiming for a high position in her cabinet.

If she comes in "2nd", then she is in 2nd place. To invoke the sexism card because of the math is disingenous.

There are plenty of women nowadays for people to look up to who are in high places and worthy of their positions. She is not one of them I'm afraid.

60. She may not be in the lead
but she has not lost anything yet. And Senator Obama has not won anything yet. This one is going to go to the wire and I've seen enough horse races to know that the horse in the lead at the top of the stretch many times does not cross the wire first.

Senator Clinton has shown her ability to take the worst the right wing slime machine can throw at her. Hell, she's shown the ability to take the worst people in her own Party throw at her. Proven quality and one that we are still not sure Senator Obama possesses.

When a candidate claims to be oh so ready on day one, yet insists on being outraged by being called(off the record) a monster, or claims now that she is losing that the rules need to change, or that a majority of Democrats don't count then one has to wonder what she'lldo at 3:00 am and Ahmadinejad is on the other end saying mean things...

Obama claim victimhood. He always attempted to dispel the myriad of falsehoods thrown his way and whenever he lost a race, he conceded to his opponent and gave a chin-up-let's-go-get-'em speech to whoever was next on his speaking tour. It's only been Mrs. Clinton who continually claims that people are "piling on" and other nonsense after she comes out with one of her Mark Penn below-the-belt sucker punches and then goes hiding behind her gender and whining like a baby when someone calls her on it. :eyes:
