35. Just got back from the Teton County event

Strongly Obama, as expected. Might get to 60-40, but I don't think it'll go far enough to get the extra delegate.

There was a huge influx of participants just after lift closing time, and the Brew Pub just down the street was packed to the rafters. Long time D's in town were literally in tears. It's tough to live here with the median home price up to somethin like $1.2 million, but a lot of us still manage it (I live in a 224 sq ft cabin :-). There are also some very powerful Democrats with links to the valley.

scheming daemons is claiming that 35000 voters came out in WY today. That would be turnout since the state only has 50K plus registered Democrats.

Maddie McCall is saying that voters numbered about 10,000, which would be about a 20% turnout.

Who is correct?

I just searched the WY dem page and found this little bullet:

# In each jurisdiction (CD and statewide):

1. Total qualified vote = total votes cast for the qualifying candidates in the jurisdiction.

That would seem to mean the total people who caucused are the numbers you see on CNN, etc.

I'm not sure though.

When I look at Sheridan County (a county I know well - used to live in Billings MT) there are only 310 votes for the whole county.

That is a fairly big town (Sheridan and County) I can't imagine only 310 people voting.
