1. The answer is neither. Both are poor substitutes for elections

13. I prefer mobs of bedazzled rock fans
screaming 17 year-olds, people fainting and Randi Rhodes on a drunk rant. That's my idea of American politics.

10. Not very tight.
Barack Obama 125,014 65.27%
Hillary Clinton 64,259 33.55%

She really doesn't care what we think.

11. That is going to bite the rep in the ass..
If it was 45-55 I would giver here some slack...and I affirm her right to choose who she think is best. I do think however that a letter writing campaign would scare thes shit out of her. Or a primary opponent.

16. Not very many.
This is Madison, Wisconsin. We are a very liberal district. Our rep was the first openly gay woman elected to Congress (1998) and she had help from from Emily's list and Hillary Clinton so there is a connection there.

She (Tammy Baldwin) is a co-chair of Hillary Clinton's Wisconsin campaign, so I didn't really expect her to change her vote with the election turnout. But I think she is probably surprised how little influence she had on the district, and how angry some of the people in the district are at her about it.

17. Well her seat is pretty safe.
This district is very blue and the primary here is in September, and no one challenges her on the Democratic side. But Dems are annoyed.

5. But Hillary is her friend. Don't you understand? She can't abandon
her friend. But she can abandon her constituents who voted for her to represent them. :sarcasm:
