GET REAL: Obama not Ready = Obama not yet controlled by big $$$ lobbyists.
Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 01:01 PM by Skwmom
Let's get real. That's what NOT READY means. You have to wait your turn and only when you have sold out to the big money special interests will you be ready for the job. Why do you think both parties have pushed the old "you must wait your turn" meme?

Hillary is #1 ranked by lobbyist and PAC contributions.

That's a long time confirmation through http://www.opensecrets.org

http://www.opensecrets.org/industries/recips.asp?Ind=K02&cycle=2008

Psst - do you see where Obama is ranked on lobbyist contributions? Nope, I don't think so.

18. He did mis-read your post; he's a good guy - must be tired or something.
and I agree completely with your assessment. The longer they're in Washington, the more dependent they get upon lobbyists, and the more corrupted they get, and the greater their sense of personal entitlement. Witness the Clintons.

Didn't sleep too well, I don't adjust well to DST..

and yes, I misread the OP, and I just realized it before I left for running errands all day.. Just got home now.

3. Obama not ready = Has yet to promise to protect secrecy and privilege of Closed Government
Clintons PROVED their willingness to protect the BFEE and wear those donkey masks for the Glaobal Fascist Agenda as outlined decades ago by GHWBush and his cronies like Jackson Stephens, Dubai and Saudi royals, and scores more.

10. Agree. That's also one of the major reasons he is not ready.
Bottom line: He's not a crooked politician yet so he's not ready for prime time.

4. I'm still trying to figure out how nominating Clinton would be "change".
I'll be the first to agree the 90's weren't that bad of a time for the most part, but if we really want to make a clean break from the politics of the past, how would putting Clinton back in the WH do that?
