Think our government doesn't use propaganda against us? Think again! I would venture to guess we have been controlled by our government for many decades. Think they don't use the media to keep us controlled? Think again! Remember how it was discovered the vote eating machines were contracted from a Republican operative? Remember the folks who have worked so hard in an attempt to rid us of those machines? Remember how hard they fought to bring this to the light of the media? And, not much was remedied, was it? To this day, I ask people if they thought the Election of 2004 was recounted in Ohio? To this day, people tell me, yes it was. I explain to them, no, it wasn't.

The recount was halted in Ohio in all 88 counties prior to being completed. Why? And why was their only limited news accounts of this? Why the only major coverage was the announcement the state would be recounted? Psssssssssst Because they wanted people to hear that message and assume that all was well, because after all, the media would have certainly let them know that it wasn't. We place entirely too much trust in our government and in the corporate and more often governmental controlled media.

Step back for a moment and open your mind to what is happening to us in the media now. Pretend your favorite candidate is not in the race. Several candidates threw their names into the mix. Debates were held and some candidates seemed to do better than others. I know very little about him, thanks to the media.

For those of us who are long time DUers this does not come as a surprise. We have been discussing the hijacking of our system for a long time. Thanks to the internet and this site, we can sort through the propaganda to learn the truth about our candidates, or can we? We have all been suspicious of the argumentative people in this forum. Some have posted to warn others there could be operatives within this forum. Think about it. George Bush as made such a mess of this country, there is no way in hell a Republican could possibly win in November. Or could they? These DU infiltrators serve for one purpose only: To divide and conquer. We must not give in to their manifest.

We can once again thoroughly discuss topics relating to the primary election in this forum, if we can all agree to ignore the people who are trying to influence us to implode. I may not agree with posters from the opposing party, but I can normally find a tactful way to debate the issues. There are times I have become disgruntled with the operatives and may have taken out my aggression against those who were honestly just trying to state a point. If I have, you have my humblest apologies.

Some of us utilize this forum to honestly debate the issues and candidates. Some of us come here to relax and take a break from the media. Some come to learn about the candidates. Let's quit letting them hijack our discussions and our general election!
