...at least Wyoming caucus voters get a vote, not a shouting contest where the most vociferous claim victory.

Obama's campaign set up 5 campaign offices two weeks before Clinton. She opened 2.

Mr. Obama went on the air with television and radio commercials this week.

Clinton had two radio advertisements.

A resounding victory!

1. Obama Wins Wyoming Caucuses, 7 Delegates

Obama Wins Wyoming Caucuses, 7 Delegates
By Marie Horrigan, CQ Staff

Barack Obama won Wyoming’s Democratic presidential caucuses Saturday amid record turnout, defeating Hillary Rodham Clinton after her strong performance in Tuesday’s contests and continuing the neck-and-neck race for the nomination.

Given the contest’s unsettled nature, Wyoming Democrats found themselves in an unusual position: central players in the presidential nominating process. Both candidates and their surrogates made multiple trips to Wyoming and Obama’s campaign set up four field offices in the state while Clinton set up offices in Cheyenne and Casper.

With final results in from all 23 counties, Obama won the contest with 5,378 votes to 3,311 votes for Clinton, 61 percent to 38 percent. Obama won 15 counties, Clinton six; they tied in two counties.

Nearly 9,000 Democrats participated in the contest, around 14 percent of registered Democrats. The highest turnout for previous presidential caucuses peaked at around 3 percent, according to Bill Luckett, spokesman for the party. Just 675 people participated in the Wyoming Democratic presidential caucuses in 2004.

“As is the story in so many other states, we saw record-shattering turnout,” Luckett said.

5. Yes, especially if it were in a state other than Cheney's that would yield 3 electoral votes
...to anyone other than McCain.

19. But what does Barack Hussein Obama have to say about it?
If you can't get Hillary Clinton's name right, I will continue to use Obama's FULL name. Turn~about is fair play.

4. Yeah, Hillary...
she lost.

Nothing wrong with Hillary but I do wonder about her supporters' spinning.

Anyone notice that Obama will get more delagates from Hillary's Texas "win" than Hillary.

This stuff just gets screwier.

27. Who is this "they" you are talking about.
No one consulted me about the date of the primary. I did show up and vote, though. (Not for Clobama, I might add.)

I have to say, the sight of you people standing around shouting that votes must not be counted reminds me of something really ugly that happened down in Miami a few years back.

13. This is what the 50-state strategy is about
If the democratic party, as a collective, says "FUCK WYOMING!", then we will never win in Wyoming. Ever. Not even for dog catcher.

On the other hand, if the democratic party says "We can afford to spend 100,000 a year to have a storefront in Cheyenne with two staffers," then maybe, just maybe, we can get people elected there and gradually get our people throughout the system.

It's what the fundies did in the 1980's. They got people elected to school boards, who went on to be city councilmen, who became mayors, and eventually representatives, senators, and governors. This is the kind of machine we need to have, even in Wyoming.

Did you know that Wyoming has a DEMOCRATIC governor, Dave Freudenthal?

Bet you didn't.

According to CNN it's still 7-4 in Obama's favour. Are there other numbers? Or is it just assumed that Clinton gets 5 because of Obama's 7 and the total delegates awarded for the caucus are 12? I thought that Obama would get the last delegate as he won the state which would make it a gain of 4 in the end. Of course, it's not much, but ironically it would be the same number of delegates that Clinton gained for her win of the important Texas primary (without the caucus). How much money was spent there?

fact: Hillary needs to win EVERY state by huge margins (24% on average). that includes Wyoming. When she LOSES Wyoming by a huge margin, it just makes it that much harder for her.

how can some still not understand this concept?
