Pssst... hey, GDP fishbowl
Did you know that the rest of the world has not only NOT HEARD Hillary's "endorsement" of McCain, but they don't give a royal shit about it, either!

FYI: most undecided voters don't spend 24/7 watching cable, or read self-important assclown's blogs on the internets, either. In fact, 99.9999% DON'T REALLY GIVE A SHIT about what Hillary said.

We now return to your regularly scheduled flamefests.

1. Hell, I was in a room of 5,000 Democratic delegates, for both candidates, and neither the
McCain flap, nor the "monster" flap had any traction.

What I'm hearing is Democrats want to see another debate. Especially one where they talk extensively about what needs done in this country.

2. This whole fucking forum is on crack
my experience has been just like yours. People IRL don't give a shit about any of that crap. They also want to see more debates.

3. Really there is another thread by someone saying that 60 minutes is leading with it
Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 06:59 PM by grantcart
and on Fox Beltway Boys they said that it would be the most prominent and heavily used part of McCain's General Election TV commercials. They specifically called it Clinton's endorsement of McCain.

Oh and by the way that famous commercial in 1964 with the atom bomb by LBJ was run exactly once. It lay dormant for a few days and then it was the discussion of the ad that became a significant factor.

Of course I cannot be sure because I am not clairvoyant. Although . . .

5. Well, there you go.
I guess eventually, if it's pushed hard enough, people might talk about it as they pay $3.50/gallon at the pump and almost double for groceries.

But for most, it's not a pressing matter.

Do you enjoy pissing people off? Do you tell your friends what a great time you had getting all "them libruls" fighting with one another?

20. Um, no. But I DO like to chide those who take themselves WAY too seriously
But what I'd REALLY like to know how you can be a Green and a Marxist at the same time. Greens eschew heirarchy and structure, while Marxists are dogmatic about The Apparatus. Or maybe you're just somebody who's taken a couple political philosophy classes and enjoys a little dilletantism, who knows.

but then, considering my Sephardic religious background, it shouldn't come as a surprise.

6. In years past I may have believed you
I can't get away from politics these days, though. Neighbors flag me down to ask, "Did you hear what Hillary said?!" People discuss the primaries in the grocery stores, at work, at the Post Office. My 16 yo knows more about this primary than I ever di when I was her age. Don't kid yourself, more people are awake from their slumber than ever before.

So then, why aren't you posting on the ISSUES rather than another flamebait post on a 'he said, she said' topic? Can't you see we have enough of these bullshit threads that attempt to pass for 'debate' around here? ;)
