I'm Calling Bullshit
I'm calling BULLSHIT on the media and paid shills (polling companies included) that have been brainwashing Americans that John McCain could beat either of our candidates on November 4th! HELL my dog catcher could beat John McCain! John McCain stands with Bush for Bush policy for more of the same, NO ONE in their right mind would actually support him - okay well the 19% of the wealthiest or stupidest Americans would, obviously as they still support Bush. But really, people - there is no way in HELL he has ANY CHANCE of winning this thing!

I don't believe it one minute! It is all propaganda and it is time we called them on it! Are you with me or against me?

1. In fact,
if you think about it - much of this fighting in here has been because the MEDIA has told us "who can beat who" based on lies! Wake up people and smell the neocon lies... they stink to high heaven!

18. Sorry you will only get a very gentile though thoroughly dismissive reply.
"Thank you for your e-mail/phone call. Though we appreciate your concern, we get so many e-mails/phone calls, that it is impossible for us to respond to every one."

blah, blah, blah, . . . like they even care.

These are highly paid talking heads, masquerading as truth tellers and statisticians, with allegiance only to their "dark overlords."

Screw them. . . or not.

I think not.

3. I agree 100%
Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 07:42 PM by Cali_Democrat
Anyone who thinks McCain can beat Hillary or Obama with the following circumstances is crazy:

- 3 trillion dollar Iraq war

- $4.00 gas

- Collapsing economy

- excessive job losses

- massive inflation

4. Totally agree. McCain IS a lame opponent
But between the two Dems, Obama is the best choice, by far.

9. I think the past 4 years have woken people up plus
our Party has gained many of their base...look at the election numbers...not all the Republicans crossed party lines to mess with the primary! 22.7 million Democratic Voters vs 13.4 million Repukes and this was before Wyoming.

24. Many things can and indeed will
I know this because all of the references from the media to "There will be alot of twists and turns yet to come" Also because they began talking "SuperDelegates" before it was close...I was like sitting there scratching my head saying, "What the hell?"

6. never underestimate the stupidity of many Americans
remember, they gave us reagan and not one but TWO BUSHES. I think the key to a Democratic win is to make it this simple: IF YOU LIKE HOW THINGS ARE GOING, VOTE REPUKE. IF NOT, VOTE DEMOCRATIC.

the Supreme Court AND then later the vote eating machines that gave us the second bush.

7. Couldn't agree more.
I hadn't heard this, but it is not only bullshit, but VERIFIED bullshit. I know that Obama could kick McCain's ass, and that at very least Clinton is head to head with McCain.

McCain is a fucking fossil and a hideous relic of a bygone era.

15. It's an election for the Democrats to win or lose. They have a 10::7 advantage going in.
Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 08:00 PM by TahitiNut
As I've said before, however, it's been my observation (as an adamant independent) for four decades that the Democrats are up to the challenge of blowing it. It's hard to imagine, even with chemical assists, a worse record to run against than the Cheney/Bush years.

From what I've seen, they're almost eager to do so this year. The internal struggle for control of the party has at least one faction more than willing to burn it down rather than let the others maintain a modicum of control. This "scorched earth" strategy has been present for some time, but more evident this year than in past years. (With the possible exception of 1968 and 1988. Maybe it's a 20-year "thing.")
