Dick Morris in a panic. Now giving Obama strategic advice via Drudge
http://www.vote.com/mmp_printerfriendly.php?id=777 (the site Drudge links to)

(snip)

The Clintons' campaign attacks put Obama in a bind.

If he doesn't answer in kind, he's toast.

But if he does, they'll have forced him off his winning message of hope and change from the bitter politics of the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush eras.

If they pull him off his game and onto theirs, they can wrest away the Democratic convention victory that he's earned.

The solution for Obama is clear: Reply in kind, but do it through surrogates.

Obama must answer Hillary's negative attacks and make counterpunches of his own to rock her back on her heels.

His holier-than-thou posture is fine for the opening stages of a campaign, but when your opponent starts throwing mud, you've got to answer.

(snip)

1. All Obama has to do is ignore Morris.
Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 10:15 PM by HawkeyeX
Why should Obama acknowledge and give creds to Dick Morris?

EDIT: Rewrote the sentence so it made sense.

3. What is fascinating to me is that only a few Obama supporters are bothered by the fact that
the worst scum of the earth, people like Matt Drudge and Dick Morris, are actively rooting for Obama to win and, in the case of Drudge, have been trying to manipulate the daily news cycle for months in favor of Obama.

Doesn't this tell you something?

And he gave away the radio spectrum to Clear Channel. Got any more smart-ass remarks?

32. Do you believe that? You never checked?
The Rezko/Obama link was investigated a long time ago when Rezko came under official investigation.
He never worked for Rezko, ever. He did do some hours of work indirectly about 15 years ago, more than a decade before Rezko was even thought to be a "bad guy"
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=87865558
Obama's firm did legal work for some of Rezko's development companies. Obama himself billed five hours for work on behalf of one of Rezko's nonprofit partners in an inner-city redevelopment project.

It's dumb that this is being used and ever brought up as some unfolding scandal. Not just is there no evidence of any wrongdoing by Obama, there aren't even allegations, no hint of wrong doing was found.
It's just implied by some to make it sound dark and nefarious Rezko has done things wrong, Rezkp is on trial. That's not Obama.
It's as stupid as trying to implicate Clinton for every crime or wrong doing on the part of her donors like Norman Hsu whose money she had to return

I wish people would stick to the truth whoever they support.

33. once again feces is running from your piehole
At one point Obama worked at a Law Firm that did 5 hrs of work on a Rezko case.
But Obama was never a fulltime employ of Rezko.

You must hate Arabs, huh?
You think calling a man Syrian is an insult?

Morris is 100% right about Obama needing to use that time honored tradition of response to the smear campaign Hillary is waging.

20. Obama just needs to hold serve at this point
I used to think that way, but then I saw what happened in 2004 to the poll numbers for Kerry just as the GE was being held.

True, Obama will likely still be the nominee, but he also has to stop Clinton from damaging him for the GE.

That demands some form of response, and using surrogates outside the campaign itself will give him the needed plausible deniability to maintain his image as a person above the petty politics of dirty campaigning.

18. There is nothing Hillary's attack machine can do about Obama's lead
Obama will have a 100+ lead in pledged delegates and no matter what poison she pours into the political waters, that will not change.

Obama needs to resist this urge and hold his fire. He can't get impatient and try to do something in an attempt to knock her out, because she refuses to quit the race except until after all the primaries and caucuses, so it would all be pointless for Obama.

Obama has the 4 aces. It doesn't matter how long this poker game goes. He has the winning hand to play. Obama can correct her every time she goes after him, but he can't fall into her trap. She needs for Obama to be corrupted, but that can only happen if Obama allows himself to be corrupted.

Being a premature ejaculator makes people tinchy, and bitchy and hissy- and you are that, you poor little tubby excuse for a man- IMHO.

The previous piece was protected speech as it was (political satire and a political OP)

Edited on Sun Mar-09-08 10:52 PM by Catherina
Bill Clinton on the Rush Limbaugh radio show pandering to the worst of America in a desperate attempt to get votes from the last demographic they're going after- uneducated White voters. That graphic if Clinton cockroaches next to the "Vote for Hillary" ad should have embarrassed Bill Clinton to no end. No pride and no integrity.
