Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 11:04 AM by SoCalDem

Are they that rich?

Are they that desperate? (rhetorical question..I know the answer)

Am I the only one who thinks it's unseemly for the governor of PA and the governor of New Jersey to privately finance two other states' do-overs...especially when they had the chance to hold prinaries legally, but chose not to..and flaunted it?

1. He'd better not be making those phone calls on "company time".
That's for sure.

We've got our own problems here. Our state, particularly Philly, needs the full attention of our governor.

2. Rendell needs to concentrate on PA
And keep his nose out of it. He has enough problems in PA. In my area, a republican stronghold, he is hated more than Bush is by Democrats.

8. I thought everyone liked Eddie
He always struck me as sleazy and I did not see him sticking up for Gore very much in '00.. Not many of the dems did much to help Gore..even his own Joementum sold him out :grr:

3. All according to plan
Are they that rich?

Of course they are.
That's why I support this decision.
In principal, it's wrong. But if some Clintonistas wants to throw $35 million+ for no gain, I endorse it entirely.

OTOH, the general electorate will notice that we break the rules when they become inconvenient, under the auspice of a "crisis".

Sound familiar?

11. Corzine is a former CEO of Goldman Sachs
He has a personal fortune. Whether the Democratic party ever sees any of that money is anyone's guess, but his main focus should be on doing what he was elected to do.
