Socks the Cat for President!

After his 8 years in the White House as First Cat, Socks has racked up quite a resume. I'm sure that he was present for many policy discussions and treaty negotiations. He was integral in negotiating peace between Arab cats and Israeli mice in East Jerusalem. He gave speeches promoting kitten's rights in Darfur. Balancing the White House milk budget wasn't easy, ladies and gentlemen. Electing Socks to the highest office in the land would break the most abundant discrimination in America, the species barrier. Women and African Americans can get in line. Kitty cats have been discriminated against since the beginning of time. Plus, if he were to become the victim of an assassination attempt, he's still got 8 lives left.
