Public humiliation through weeks of ridicule on late night TV and message boards much like this one.

Anything less would be uncivilized.

2. Absolutely, isn't that what journalism is all about, leave everything
else & go for the sex. There ARE no other issues. :sarcasm:

4. Sex is Sex
I don't understand why people get into an outrage over it. Everybody has sex. You pay for it either way you get it.

6. Not everybody gets beaten by a pimp though ...
there are some important differences.

Having said that, I don't think it should be illegal. It doesn't seem to be ruining Nevada.

10. I've always been in favor
of legalizing it and taxing it at a 100% rate or something. Nevada is doing fine with it and it makes the girls safer both ways for the customer and the girl herself. Prostitution is always going to happen no matter how many cops you put on the street. It's stupid not to legalize it and reap the tax money from it.

12. Sex is also sometimes business
As NY attorney General, Spitzer had busted prostitution rings. So being a client of a business like this is what's embarrassing. If they have or had any operation sin the NY area, he should have been instructing his successor as AG to shut them down.

I would feel totally different if Spitzer had had a 1-on-1 relationship with some individual prostitute, but instead he went to International House of Prostitutes.
