Obama IS winning the Popular vote.... with links based on facts
which hillary supporters seem to have left behind along with their morality and ethics.

Without Florida or Michigan

Popular Vote Total -

Obama 13,025,003 49.4%
Clinton 12,421,316 47.1%

winner -------- Obama +603,687 +2.3%



With Florida added to total

Popular Vote (w/FL) -

Obama 13,601,217 48.3%
Clinton 13,292,302 47.2%

winner -------- Obama +308,915 +1.1%




with florida and michigan added to total (remember Obama was NOT on the ballot in michigan so he got ZERO votes)

Popular Vote (w/FL & MI)* -

Obama 13,601,217 47.3%
Clinton 13,620,611 47.4%

winner --------- Clinton +19,394 +0.1%

2. And please note the footnote at the RCP site
that explains IA, NV, WA, and ME totals were not included in the popular vote because those states never provided the numbers. I do believe the popular vote from these would tip the balance quite a bit more towards Obama.

The vote numbers released for caucus states are not the exact popular vote.

5. Didn't you hear?
Obama was stupid for taking his name off the ballot in Michigan, even though Michigan violated DNC rules. Or something like that. I'm sure someone will clear this up below. :eyes:

8. The POPULAR VOTE just doesn't matter now does it?
Delegates do. Those are the rules. WE need to change the rules if we don't like them.

Just like in the GE, Electoral Votes matter, not the popular vote.

We need to write our Congressperson if we don't like those rules.

People need to get ready for the fact that Hillary just may get the nod without getting the popular vote. It's currently possible and LEGAL.
