Remember we talked about using the word "republicanism"
last year to describe problems in the US (and now the world)?

During this election cycle, a lot of ads TV, radio, print, mailings to homes should be made that have examples of "republicanism". A few:

-Photographs of people in unemployment lines, and food bank lines.
-Photographs of plants closed and gates padlocked.
-Newspaper clippings of headlines announcing layoffs.
-Images of environmental problems (clearcutting, toxic air/water)

There are many examples, but I think that the word "republicanism" is an important tool that might stick.

1. Like bringing REPUBLICANISM to Iraq?
I didn't see the discussion you mention, but I had a similar thought last week. Why say "bringing Democracy to Iraq" and defame the word Democratic? Let's say what it really is "REPUBLICANISM", as in FAILURE!
