Happy e-mail from my best friend, a former Clinton supporter...
Here's the e-mail. I'm just cutting and pasting. Woo-hoo! I'm pleased.
-------------------------------
The past few weeks of Hillary behavoir have been extremely disappointing.
I think she has embarrassed herself, the Democratic Party, everyone who was trying to support her as strong candidate to kick some GOP ass, and not the least of which me.

The three-am was bad enough, but the not disavowing the Ken Starr comment from Wolfson, and this latest crap about her deigning to allow Obama to be her VP has not only been offensive, it has showed her (and/or her campaign) to be totally inept politically.

I predicted wins for her in TX and OH (not that I was necessarily wishing it be so), and I think that my instincts were not too bad. My hope was that she would have taken the opportunity of slowing down Obama's momentum to take the high road, and take a "may the best (wo)man win" attitude while emphasizing the need to unify the Party to beet McCain and get to work fixing the country.

Most unfortunately, she has done nothing of the sort, and in the process proved my original postion regarding her to be TOTALLY wrong.

I never LIKED her. Rather, I (grossly mistakenly) assumed that the Clinton political machine was going to be more adept at beating the GOP and "getting things done" post -election.
On the contrary, she (and/or her campaign) have proven themselves to be political amateurs, and incapable of being POTUS.

I will make a substantial donation to the Obama campaign tomorrow.
I still kinda hope Gore announces he will be an independent candidate though...
Thoughts?

1. Did I mention this is from the REAL WORLD and wasn't written for GD:P.
Therefore it has some inkling of significance at least.

how her ambition is exceeding everything, including the interests of our party and the people. The Clinton campaign must be tone deaf not to realize how they're hurting themselves.
Thanks for another story that proves it.

It was all this recent stuff that has really killed her.
