Kind of different there. There was a case of serial behavior, and it was the WH after all. The party was already battling the RW nightmare that was coming at the clintons 24/7. Why risk anything by doing something to stupid, unless you wanted to get caught?

As for Spitzer, it's still wrong - and in his case hurt his reputation quite severely. I do feel terribly sorry for his wife and children. But his actions truly only impact the State of NY vs. the Country as a whole.
