3. Ferraro and Clinton are both great women
and the sexist attacks against them are out of line.

Sexism must stop.

8. Wow. Playing the sex card on top of the race card? It's politics, not Uno.

13. Sexism and dirty tricks are the hallmark of Obama's campaign
Of course he should be called on it, as should the news media for going along with it.

Sexism is every bit as offensive as racism and women are tired of dealing with it. Get used to it.

15. Okay. A Clinton staffer says Obama is nothing without his race. And you take that as evidence
that Obama is "sexist" and "plays dirty tricks?"

I'd say "get help," but you're beyond that.

20. Ferraro made racist remarks (on the record) about Obama
I'd want her fired whether she was male or female. This has nothing to do with sexism.

5. Obama staffer says something stupid: resigns, Clinton staffer says something stupid: stays on.

The difference between how the Stephanie Power situation was handled and the way the Gerri Ferraro situation is being handled show just how different these two politicians are.

Obama has integrity and accountability.

Hillary does not.

7. When did Jesse Jackson Jr., Charles Barron, and other "staffers" resign?
Bill Shaheen resigned. Why does the Obama camp have to revise history so often? Is it because they can't rely on substance to promote their candidate? There have been many Obama cronies who haven't resigned and Shaheen at least was one major Hill supporter who resigned.

16. And when did Ferraro say something stupid? She didn't
I still need an Obama supporter to make their case on this latest version of the race card game.

6. Obama fires staffers who embarrass the campaign. Clinton, like Bush, prefers to stick to
her cronies.

9. If I criticize Ferraro why am I being sexist? Maybe I just think she is an idiot.
I have never liked the lady and her latest statement just makes me dislike her more.

Personally, I thought the whole Stephanie Power thing was blown way out of proportion. She called Hillary a monster. Big freaking deal.

14. Or you haven't read her comments
If you did, you would realize why you have a very difficult time making your case.

12. Ever notice Obama doesn't call for the firing of Hillary's surrogates who make offensive comments?
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 12:30 PM by NJSecularist
But if one of Obama's surrogates said something like this about Hillary, i.e. "She wouldn't be where she was right now if she wasn't female", Hillary would be playing victim card in true Hillary fashion and demanding the surrogate to resign?

It reflects positively upon a campaign that has respect for the party elders.
