ABC News (Tapper): "my opponent" receives many "boos" @ Clinton event

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/03/the-politics-of.html

<snip>

"My opponent said one thing in Ohio and then his top economic adviser told the Canadian government, 'Don't worry what he said, that's just politics.'"

Boooo! Boooo!

She attacked him for saying he would withdraw US troops from Iraq while his (now former) foreign policy adviser Samantha Power communicated a more nuanced message to the BBC.

"I gotta tell you, there's a big difference between talk and action, but if you're going to talk you should mean what you say so people can count on it," Clinton told the cheering crowd.

Her references to Obama -- "my opponent" -- were consistently met with boos from the crowd.

And then -- while Clinton was detailing all the ways Obama can't be trusted -- an interesting yell came from a young man in the audience.

"We hate Obama!" he yelled. "Obama sucks!"

Just one guy in just one crowd. But I've been at a lot of rallies this year and haven't heard anything like it before.

show me clips of Clinton being booed or people yelling "We hate Hillary" at an Obama event.

Before someone dodges this: yes, people have booed quotes from her. I mean something like what happened here: Obama mentions her name or says "my opponent" and that draws boos.

16. I've been to 8 Obama rallies and haven't heard anything like that.
At his speech in San Antonio the night of the election, the only reference to Clinton was when the crowd clapped politely to Obama's congratulating her for her wins that night.

But they say we are the cult.

22. I have to laugh at Obama supporters.
One puts up an article of a biased reporter who is pro Obama (yes he is, check him out) saying that 1 Hillary person in a crowd yelled out that "we hate Obama". And they have the nerve to say that Obama supporters would never do that at an Obama rally. BUT right here in this thread they trash Hillary calling her names etc. Really, you people are funny. LOL

the night Clinton won Texas, Ohio, and RI when Obama talked in Texas there was all kinds of people booing Clinton. I've witnessed in person all kinds of Obama people flying off the handle and crossing the line. The group of change has no patience for others. Let's not act like "It's the Clinton people!!" all you have to do is come to this board to see which group acts out of line first.
