Daily Kos: It's now expected that HRC should win PA by 19...anything less...
SUSA: Clinton up 19 in Pennsylvania
by kos
Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 01:02:47 PM PDT
Clinton's expectations are set for Pennsylvania: 19 points.

SurveyUSA. 3/8-10. Likely voters. MoE 4% (No trend lines)

Clinton 55
Obama 36

This is what she should be expected to do that day. If she meets them, she still won't have the numbers to get her to any reasonable definition of victory, but she has at least done something. Not sure what, but something.

Anything less, and it'll be clear that Obama has eaten into her lead and she's bleeding support and would need to seriously reconsider what is becoming a quixotic bid.

Game on.

2. SUSA is one poll and it won't happen anyway.
Six weeks is an eternity for Obama to close the lead and he will. Hillary had a 20 point lead in Texas 2 weeks before the primary.

4. true but this is where she begins and expectations are an overwhelming win for her
if she doesn't win overwhelmingly it shows her support is being eaten away.

5. Let us all remember this number. If she wins by anything else, it's a symbol of buyer's remorse...
and a moral victory for the Obama camp. The pressure is now on her to win by atleast 19. If that doesn't happen she done.

7. Hmmm. 55-36% So we can assume 9% will vote uncommitted that day?
Folks. These polls are useless at this point. Wait until Obama's been there a week or two before polls matter.

15. And It Was Ed Rendall That Raise Them......
he ended his interview on MSNBC with this smug look on his face and blurted out today's poll numbers.

Some supporter of Hillary. He just set the bar for her - and I'm afraid he set it too soon and too high.

Obama - will eat that lead away.

13. Nothing like setting the bar low for Obama, especially with his "high jumping" abilities.

14. Just remember though...19% lead six weeks to go. Don't forget it.
Because when he beats her by 3 or loses by 5 (which is what will happen) she can't claim that she was the underdog.
