Especially about her tasteless apology.

1. Why should we contact her?
She is aware of the situation, and does not approve of Ferraro's comments. I'll take her at her word that she "disapproves" - as far as I know.

7. She's sorry people got offended.
Then claimed being a victim of anti-white racism from the Obama camp.

and tell Clinton and Ferraro to keep standing up to Obama's swiftboat attacks.

6. Stop saying "swiftboat".
Unless you can provide evidence of such attacks by Obama on Ferraro.

Here are his own words:
“I don’t think Geraldine Ferraro’s comments have any place in our politics or in the Democratic Party. They are divisive.

I think anybody who understands the history of this country knows they are patently absurd. And I would expect that the same way those comments don’t have a place in my campaign they shouldn’t have a place in Senator Clinton’s either.”

Which part of that is "swiftboating" in your little brain?

9. I'm not going to associate this latest eruption with Clinton
She disavowed the original remarks, and I give her credit for that. Ferraro is the one who is the ass here. And think about it: Ferraro has destroyed her own ability to advocate for Clinton. She neutralized herself and is going to have an ugly footnote in her biography henceforth. That's enough for me. I'm quite happy for Ferraro to make her quiet way to the dustbin of history now.

11. I called, and clearly was not the first.
I was told by a very considerate young man that he has received MANY calls today on the matter, and that MANY constituents agree with my position. He apologized (personally, not on behalf of the campaign) for any mis perception, and said that he would pass on the comments. He did try to say that she wasn't affiliated with the campaign, and when I pressed him on that - he admittedly added that he really didn't know GFs role.
