This is apparently the 2nd time she has stated something similar - the first time was when Jesse Jackson ran. I actually know what she was trying to say (i.e. - that the "coolness factor" is there with Dems when a black person runs), but it didn't come out that way (she left it open to interpretation in a BAD way), so she has GOT TO GO NOW.

BTW, you will never see me "supporting" one candidate or the other per se - I would if I thought a reasonable discussion was possible. I'm very impressed that you were not put off by my provovation - I will remember that. I actually want ot like Obama, but too many of his supporters here act so "in your face" childish at times that I just can't commit either way - so I'm just hoping to have a decent conversation once in a while. The rest of the time I try to point out to people that they aren't acting logically.

Geraldine Ferraro's comments are unworthy of the Democratic Party. And the pure stupidity of those comments - and Hillary's allowing them to continue - reflects very poorly on Hillary's management skills imo.

Obama responded to the Stephanie Powers incident with immediate action. I said at the time that Hillary had made a big mistake by handing Obama such a great opportunity. Now, less than a week later, Hillary compounds the mistake by allowing this disaster to roll!!
