A candidate that has race baiting surrogates is by extension racist.

What Geraldine Ferraro said is patently race-baiting. Her campaign would not have accepted one of her opponents saying the same thing about her being there as a token woman.

If HRC will not remove her from the campaign, then I have no other choice than to believe that she supports what her surrogate said. Disgusting that this is an issue in a Democratic primary.

That's the real story, IMO. Not what Ferraro originally said, so much as her enforcement of it today and Hillary's refusal to fire her from the campaign. This was a very clear racist comment, no buts about it (despite what so many on this board seem to believe) and deserved a very quick and very final response from Clinton.
