5. If simply being First Lady indicates foreign policy experience
would Laura Bush be qualified to run for president on those grounds?

7. Hilly's experience is greater than Obama's
Too bad she has such awful judgment. Too bad she lies so much about her experience. Too bad she's incapable of learning or taking responsibility. Your OP points to the fact that experience should not be the sole determinant on this issue.

10. Learning how to meet and work with people first hand
on an even playing field beats meeting people on a level where you are a step above them and they 'have' to be polite is another story. One would just be nice if you were the first lady and head of state. Bush met many at the side of his father and learned not one thing it seems. His father seems to have learned it from the lower level up and was some what better at it than his son. Also I do not think Clinton has ever worked at a so called normal job. Being a costly lawyer and working for Congress is hardly learning people of every day types..

11. it depends on what you do as a fiirst lady
The Clinton's made it clear that Hillary would have a big role in the white house acting as an advisor and partner to Bill. She was villified for it. People ran around screaming that we didn't vote for her! Don't you remember this?

When GWB was elected, Laura said that she was not going to be involved in the policy making and she wanted to return to the more traditional role of First Lady. The republicans cheered.

12. It's short-sighted to even open that door
considering McCain's FoPo experience towers over both of our candidates.

So play out your arguement in the general. I don't see it winning us the GE.

13. Oh well, the Clinton campaign seems to be unashamed of employing that very strategy
I'm not sure why she thinks having foreign policy emphasized in the general election will work to her advantage. Or maybe she's just focused on winning the nomination and not thinking beyond that at all.

14. Why all the talk about Hillary and Obama?
The poll said a community organizer in Chicago. Thats not foreign policy experience.
