OK - so who else said someone 'was overrated because he's black'?
Ferraro:

"If Barack Obama was a white man, would we be talking about this..would he be a real problem for Hillary? If he was a woman, of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

Also saying that several super-delegates are only voting for Obama cause he is black, and it pisses her off...She is "lunatic about this stuff" and "so dissapointed I could die". Also, it's about sexism too, about the "guys sticking together".

Ferraro isn't some unknown lower-level or obscure advisor, but one of Clinton's top fundraisers, a member of Clinton's finance committee, and a former Democratic vice presidential nominee.

Wow - deja vu all over again...thought we were hearing from Rush here for a second. Didn't he get fired for the same statements about black quaterback Donovan McNabb?

"Limbaugh said Eagle's quaterback Donovan McNabb was overrated by the media because he's black'"...

"RUSH LIMBAUGH, POLITICAL COMMENTATOR: The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. For instance, black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well..."

In a statement released last night, Limbaugh said, "My comments this past Sunday were directed at the media and were not racially motivated""

So because FERRARO states SHE got selected for VP in '84 because she was a woman, it MUST be that Obama is where he is just because he is black?? What bullshit! Ferraro should apologize, and then STFU. Hillary should expand her "rejection" and apologize for Ferraro's statements.

3. The Truth is
If Obama was a white man he'd have the nomination by now. If Clinton was a white man she'd be out by now.

5. And if Ferraro worked for Obama, she would have been fired immediately
The fact that she's still working for Hillary tells you everything you need to know.

12. Please educate yourself before spouting off.
Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign declined today to force former Democratic vice-presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro from its finance committee, as her rival Sen. Barack Obama and his aides demanded, after Ferraro suggested Obama would not be in the position he is not if not for his race and gender.

11. I agree (somewhat) with Ferarro.
African Americans have been Clinton's "bread and butter" for her last eight years in the Senate. Seeing her support with that voting sector plummet simply because she is running against an African American must be incredibly frustrating.

Having lived in Southern AmeriKKKa once, I cannot bring myself to quite believe that the dramatic shift in this voting sector is merely over qualification.

17. FACT NOT IN DISPUTE: Blacks didn't start voting for BO 9 - 1 until AFTER South Carolina
The thought that BO didn't win our respect and our votes is demeaning.

Black people aren't stupid, we know how to discern and can think for ourselves.

22. Certainly not disputing the FIRST fact.
I do not believe that BO won the respect and votes because he is the better candidate. I believe that he won them because he is black and repeatedly charged the Clinton campaign with race-baiting. It's the USA - it works every time.
