Hillary only needs to win PA by 102%
Obama pledged delegate lead: 161
Pennsylvania available pledged delegates: 158

Assuming even split among other contests. Not counting superdelegates. If you do count superdelegates, and assume current trend continues, she'll need a bigger win.

8. What matters is that it's a state that COUNTS!
And I'm sure that if Hillary wins it, her team will spin it as a 101.898% victory.

More people voted for him in the caucus.

As a whole, he won Texas.

final call.

I better not hear any bitching about that bornagainhooligan.

"Them's the rules" after all.

Right? And rules are rules.

22. The superdelegates will vote for Obama.
I'm not worried about that.

The delegates in Texas are based on proportional representation, so you're comparing apples and oranges.

And you would have no excuse for behaving that way, because you say rules are rules.

Hillary has won the states with the most land mass!!! Wow!!! What a horse race this is!!!

26. So even though Obama was won the most people
she has won the states with the most people! We should exclude IL from the list, because Obama is from there, but we shouldn't exclude NY because... well... I don't know. Our nominee should ALWAYS be the person who wins the states with the most people and greatest landmass. Screw the pledged delegates and screw the popular vote!

I loved Teena; she was my first and favorite DU buddy. This place has never been, and will never be, the same with her gone.

Thanks for the smile. :hi:

*edited to add: After posting this, I ran back to my inbox just to re-read some of our correspondence and I was reminded of how feisty yet lovely Teena was back in the day with her support of Kerry while I was firmly behind Dean.

Not a drop of animosity tween us, just mutual respect for our differences. I care not what other say... DU in 2003-04 was far less rancorous than the current campaign is.

33. Actually, she can win just 60% or so in PA
she will then only need 450 out of the remaining 325 super delegates.

It's in the bag.

37. Well, you seem to be forgetting Michigan
where she was the only candidate on the ballot. And she's been pushing to seat those delegates as is without ever having a real election or caucus. That's why she is still in the race. She is counting on those kind of crooked deals to win.
