Obama: "They" are attacking you!
From today's begging email from BO:

They're not just attacking me; they're attacking you.
Over the weekend, an aide to Senator Clinton attempted to diminish the overwhelming number of contests we've won by referring to places we've prevailed as "boutique" states and our supporters as the "latte-sipping crowd."

Yeah, "they" are attacking "us"...
:eyes:

2. How's that "insult 35 states" strategy working out for hilly?
If the hilly campaign staffers are going to make stupid comments, Obama and his camp will exploit them. That's politics.

3. Hillary surrogates NEVER attack Obama supporters.

Wherever does Obama come up with this stuff?

5. Insulting Barack's supporters
will really make them want to campaign for her later this year.

Right.

6. Hillary is attacking the Democratic party IMO
Because anyone in her position who was for the team would have dropped out for the good of the team by now.

7. As a Dem party member, putting a Repuke above the Dems was an attack on "us" (party members).
But then I expect many DLCers don't consider themselves a part of the Democratic party anyway. They should just split off and create their own 3rd party and hope they can survive without leaching off the DNC.

9. It's true
Clinton and her staff have dismissed states as insignificant, dissed party activists who attend caucuses (whose support they will presumably need in the fall), demeaned young voters who support him as "latte-sipping trust-fund babies". and implied that Obama's supporters are simply buying into the hype and not intelligent enough to judge him on his merits.

I have no problem with this e-mail...I am glad the Obama campaign is calling out Clinton's campaign on dissing not just Obama but his voters and supporters. I donated again last night.

13. Hillary's campaign is attacking us
It's part of a campaign of marginalizing us and Obama-- a niche candidate who would lose in a 49 state blowout like Mondale. Fear Obama! He'll fail utterly in November! Boo!

More fear-mongering from Hillary and it is very insulting to us in numerous ways.

20. I was told that O's campaign is not about HIS character, it is about OURS!
All 300,000,000 plus of us cheering in big rallies: Yes, we can...Yes, we can. Not since the 1930s has the world seen anything like it.

Any attack on him is an attack on all of us. We shouldn't even have to have an election. This movement is already bigger than the Second Coming (or something like that according to Tweety).

The Red Sea will part when he walks down Pennsylvania Avenue, and it will be all of us who are responsible for working hard to turn the country around. Thank you, David Axelrod, for selling hope and change. I bet not one dime of all that lobbyist money is going to you.

25. Great line that should be used more...."they" are also attacking you and
us because we non-insiders dare to think they can govern. Presidents and congress used to be thought of as citizens serving for an amount of time. Who are "they" to tell us that citizens of this country are not qualified to serve?
