Right now I think our dignity is on the edge. I'm an idealist, I admit it but if we slide into the kind of shit the Republicans have mastered it is going to literally be very hard on me emotionally. When I think that we could do to each other what the Republicans have been doing to everyone for so long I truly can (might...will) shed a tear.

I have believed we were better than that. I have believed that there were certain beliefs that could make us better humans. Isn't that the nature of being a progressive? If we cannot answer that question in the affirmative can't we just all do something else?
