Why does Geraldine Ferraro still have a seat on Hillary Clinton’s campaign finance committee?
Shouldn't Hillary have her leave that position? Afterall, it wasn't enough for her for Samantha Power to apologize for her supposedly off-the-record comment that Hillary was a monster. She called on Obama to get rid of her and he DID. Now, you have someone from HILLARY'S camp saying things ON the record and standing by those comments, making things worse each time, and she's still there? All Hillary had to say was she disagreed and hoped BOTH sides will stop with these kinds of comments? I think it's time for the party elders to step in here!

1. I know! She had to get that little "both sides" bit in, too.
The woman in absolutely incapable of admitting when she or her campaign screws up. It's always another variation on "mistakes were made". This time, she adds the "but he does it too!" whine.

2. Yup. Apparently, what's good for the goose is NOT good for the gander.
It's obvious who the candidate with class is.

3. Someone said early this AM on MSNBC that Hillary should return the money she brought in
As part of firing her from her campaign finance commitee.

Maybe she's one of Hillarys bigger campaign finance bundlers?

5. I heard that, too. I agree and I BET Hillary (via Wolfson) would demand the same if a
similar set of comments came from the Obama camp.

11. The new Hillary Team meme is that it's okay for women to be racists.
Take a look around. That is the theme today.

It's unfuckingbelievable.

There's even a thread atop the Greatest page whose theme is that it's okay to be a racist because woman is the world's nigger.

It's unfuckingbelievable.

And I've seen those posts. It's a sign of desperation. Never mind that there are many women world leaders whose countries don't have women majorities.

Especially a "glass-ceiling breaker" like Ferraro.

14. However, leaving gerry on there is a reminder
of what a racist pig hilary's campaign has been even before ol' bil gave his infamous South Carolina speech and basically lost her votes.

Notice how fast she scrubbed Eliot Spitzer from her Super delegate website slot, though.

20. G. Ferraro and S. Power
The best thing the Obama camp could do would be to ask Samantha Power to return. Obama should personally ask for Ms Power to rejoin the effort and make sure to use the word "regret" in his statement to the press explaining his change of heart.

33. They think they know what they are Doing
they want to exploit race, it worked for them in Ohio, it might work for them Penn (the Alabama part)West Virginia, and Kentucky

from the daily Kos

"Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign is in no hurry to stem the bleeding. Clearly, they've made a calculated decision that this is good politics in certain parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky, so why put the brakes on it?"

Then this from Nevada

"But now it's exploded out into the open in the Democratic presidential nomination battle, with the Clinton campaign leading the charge. In recent weeks, efforts by Clinton surrogates to wage racial politics against Obama were viewed by reporters as efforts to sway white voters away from Obama: a national Clinton co-chair implied that Obama had a drug-dealing past, a former US senator repeated disproved Islamic smears, and most recently a billionaire black entertainment mogul introduced Clinton by resurrecting the drug canard. All three then staged public "apologies." But it's the words of Bill and Hillary Clinton that have sent the signals from above, from the latter's angry uncle acts in New Hampshire and Nevada and his defense of a voter suppression lawsuit there, to the former's exaltation of LBJ as the real MLK, the strategy has been to bait Obama supporters into respond in kind. Then they claim to be "victims" of false accusations of racism."
