No Person With An Ounce Of Black Blood Could Ever Run
for President according to some posters here because I can guarantee nearly all of them would be members of he same kind of church.

The fact is, lots of us white, progressive liberals agree with a whole lot these black preachers say.

1. Apparently Obama denies ever hearing any of that stuff at that church.
It all happened while he wasn't there & never knew it was happening. It's all news to him.

2. 20 Years Of Preaching And They Had What
5 minutes of "controversial" quotes. Most of which I agreed with. I think he could have missed those. I've missed years of *'s speeches and he is sadly my President.

3. Imagine the coincidence, one time in 20 years & they had filmed it.
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 02:58 AM by The_Casual_Observer
What are the chances of that? My my. Your point seemed to be in defense of that kind of hate speech, & now you are saying that it probably only happened a few times?

10. Apparently that wright guy was notorious for that shit. Yet Obama
as of this evening claims to have no knowledge of any of it until the video surfaced, after a close association of more than a decade. So sure, I'm calling him a liar.

The probability laws are in Obama's favor. So unless the MSM comes up with a proof that he was sitting there during the "God Damn America" statement. You have no grounds.

Should be easy to figure out if Obama was visiting relatives or on vacation or doing something else that Christmas.

What was the year?

11. But there is proof
He had previously expressed concerns to Wright. That is a matter of record. You have to question the judgment of someone that would have a person like that on his campaign committee.

13. The more he says about this thing the worse it gets.
He's too stupid to lie on his feet about it. Sure, he didn't know anything about it until the video suddenly pops up, then it's straight over to Olbermann with a denial.
Go ahead, keep defending the idiot if you want to.

14. No coincidence. His DVDs were sold online--they taped ALL his services.
They sold his "greatest hits" in the church bookstore. Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards only, thanks much. That's where those images came from, his DVDs.

It wasn't an accident. They made MONEY off it.

You can see the week's service at the website, and you can watch the Sunday service live on the net.

The "chances of that" are a hundred percent--they have the entire church "wired" because they SELL the videos. That's why they have so many camera angles--the cameras are welded to the rafters. They have a whole production outfit to record those services.

Obama used to listen to tapes of Rev. Wright when he was at Harvard Law.

But you'd think they'd send him a set of DVDs for tossing twenty five grand into the pot last year...

He'd better hope he's not in one of those crowd shots during the service. Or if he was there, he's leaning back in his seat, eyes closed, mouth open, and .... snoring!

8. I agree... that's just not believable
The only way a person could believe that was if they were never the member of a church. And his concern about Wright was well known before this by his own admission. I have to wonder why he would have him as part of his campaign knowing Wright's beliefs.

6. I sure don't agree with it
I left a church once because I thought they were teaching hate rather than teaching the bible. It was hard, but I couldn't let my children be exposed to such talk. I don't have a lot of sympathy for him taking his children to such a place.

as he sees it. Do you know anyone you consider to be right 100% of the time? If he was right 90% of the time should Obama leave the church? Why wouldn't he just say he didn't agree with that like most of us do?

What Wright means is probably true. The problem is that no one in the mainstream hears anything except "God Damn America".
After that statement just get ready to fist fight.
"Fuck your mother" is less divisive.

Per this cite: http://www.nndb.com/people/649/000022583/

According to this AMAZON review, Rice is a Presbyterian...that's VERY mainline and liturgical, that, as well. And she has clergy in her family as well: http://www.amazon.com/Faith-Condoleezza-Rice-Leslie-Montgomery/dp/1581347995
