I guess vitriolic anti-homosexual rhetoric is acceptable nowadays
There seems to be quite a bit of fuss over Obama's pastor, and his "racist" vitriol. Some people have brought up Hillary's association with The Fellowship, a group of very conservative evangelicals. One of those is Sen. Sam Brownback. I don't know if any of you have ever been to an evangelical church, but I was raised in one. I can't tell you how many times I heard that homosexuals would burn in hell. Heck, they're still spewing that homophobic bullshit.

Why isn't Hillary's association with this group getting more attention?

1. Because
being in a congressional prayer group isn't the same thing as being in "The Fellowship".

It is well noted, she has deep roots for 15 years with David Coe, and yes it is "The Fellowship"

There is much information out there, with her and several Repuplicans, and one other Dem., all named by name

11. No
There are members of "The Fellowship" that also pray at the same Congressional prayer gathering as Hillary Clinton does.

Hillary is a Methodist.

3. Still, she's cozying up to some very anti-gay evangelicals
I don't care what you want to call it. She's chosen to become quite cozy with their types for the past 15 years.

If we're going to denounce McCain because of his association with Hagee, and Obama because of his association with Wright, then it's only fair that Hillary get the same treatment.

5. Yes, it would be fair
if Coe were her pastor and mentor. But he's not.

She attends prayer meetings with colleagues. You can try to spin that into an awful thing, but I doubt most voters would be terribly upset.

6. ....
a 15 year relationship counts for something and by attending prayer meetings, that he officiates, yes that makes him her pastor.

I'm not spinning, it's all in the articles.

10. None of these affiliations between ANY political person
and whichever nasty group should be of concern because we all know that these politicians no matter which one or from which side are drugged and kidnapped during the night and taken to whatever prayer breakfast, cross-burning, or lynching against their will.

And of course any pol never and I mean never, ever did ANY favor for anyone that gave them a donation or "raised" hundreds of thousands of dollars for their re-election.

Please could we stop believing in Knights in shining armor? Ok, they've ALL had their hands out and in others pockets for years. How do people that never make more than a couple of hundred thousand dollars a year if that much, become worth 100's of millions of dollars over a 12 or 18 or 24 year political career?

The punch line of a funny (to us 14 year old males) dirty joke goes, the old crone says "Sonny how are you?..... he says "35", she says "and you STILL believe in witches"?

Let's stop believing in witches....ok?
