Connecticut Presidential Election
Connecticut: Obama Leads McCain By 12
Saturday, March 15, 2008

In Connecticut, Barack Obama currently leads John McCain by twelve percentage points, 50% to 38%. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey found that Hillary Clinton leads McCain by just three, 47% to 44%. Last November, a time when Clinton was still the Democratic frontrunner and McCain was an afterthought in the GOP race, the former First Lady held an eight point lead over the Arizona Senator.

McCain now trails both Democrats by nearly twenty percentage points among women in Connecticut. Among men, McCain leads Clinton by double digits but trails Obama by four.

Obama is viewed favorably by 67% of Connecticut voters, McCain by 58%, and Clinton by 54%. Connecticut is the only state surveyed in 2008 where all three candidates have favorable ratings over 50%.

California 2008 Presidential Election
California: Obama Leads McCain by 15, Clinton Leads By 7
Friday, March 14, 2008

Democratic divisiveness may be hurting the party’s general election prospects in states like Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, but not in California. That latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the nation’s most populous state shows Barack Obama leading John McCain 53% to 38%. Hillary Clinton leads McCain 46% to 39%.

Nationally, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll finds a very competitive race between McCain and either Obama or Clinton.

In California, Obama leads McCain by twenty-two points among men and by eight points among women. Clinton leads McCain by seventeen among women but trails by two points among men.

Obama is viewed favorably by 59% of the state’s voters, McCain by 49%, and Clinton by 47%.

Ohio 2008 Presidential Election
Ohio: McCain Leads Both Clinton and Obama by Six
Friday, March 14, 2008

Hillary Clinton kept her hopes for winning the Democratic Presidential nomination alive with a big win in the Ohio Primary just over a week ago. But, the first general election poll conducted since that Primary shows John McCain has gained ground in the Buckeye State.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Ohio shows John McCain leading both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama by identical 46% to 40% margins. In the last poll conducted before the hard fought Democratic Primary, McCain had a statistically insignificant one-point lead over Obama and a three-point edge over Clinton.

McCain leads Clinton by twenty-one points among men but trails by seven among women. The Republican leads Obama by sixteen among men and trails by four among women in that match-up.

3. This demonstrates the winner of this negative kitchen sink strategy:McCain!
The more Obama's character is assailed by Hillary, the higher the negatives for OUR SIDE. It doesn't help Hillary, it merely depresses Obama's positives.

So, Hillary, go for it in PA! sarc. Let's drive the negatives up in that key battleground state too, so McCain has a better chance of winning PA in November! Way to go, Hill!

Or, you could take a different tack. You could say why you would make a good president and attack MCCAIN. What a refreshing change THAT would be for the campaign.

Won't happen though, because Hill's only chance is to destroy Obama. It matters little to Hill whether she destroys him so much she will make it easier for McCain.
