Now, more than ever, Barack Obama.
My support has increased (the small fraction it could) by the religious fervor going on.

To quote Langston Hughes:

"His soul has grown deep like the rivers"

And this experience with the media and his wolfish attackers has and will dredge those rivers deeper.

1. Agreed.
People can tell when someone is being attacked for a good reason and when someone is being attacked for being who they are and what they represent.

7. Yes we must. This Hannitization of black American history must stop.
I wish Barack would be more forceful in explaining where Rev. Wright's perspective is coming from, but perhaps he can't, and it's up to the rest of us.

I was appalled at yesterday's coverage. Anderson Cooper was especially disappointing; a johnny-one-note asking over and over again if Obama could be believed, and never once discussing the history behind Rev. Wright's comments. From what I saw, Wright said 9/11 and slavery were both bad. He was wrong - how?

8. I was appalled at the coverage as well.
And Wright's examples of the treacheries of our government toward other human beings cannot be denied.

9. But that's the point; the spinmeisters want to smear Wright
and, by extension, Obama for the truths he told. No one has dissected what exactly he said, but boy, they sure didn't like the way he said it.
