that the toxic swamp which is GD: Primaries has virtually nothing in common with a vast majority of the American voting public. What a relief it was to realize that the miasma of shitmist which permeates this place is the exception rather than the rule; and that the feces-flingers on both sides are a tiny minority. Those DUers who will take their ball and go home should their favorite fail to gain the nomination will prove insignificant as the Democratic party rallies behind what will be, in either instance, a remarkable candidate; and we move decisively to bring to an end the unrelenting Hell of 8 years of Republican Constitution-shredding, illegal war-starting, economy-destroying, middle class-fucking, environment-raping rule. That's a fight I'm ready for.

1. Many of us here type things we don't mean in the heat of the moment.
The majority will support the nominee, at least I think they will.

4. Bravo, Bravo! Well said.
I've been gettin' downright discouraged lately with all the rhetoric floatin' around these parts. You have nailed it, though--we really have no choice but to bring an end to the Hell of the last 8 years. If we don't, there'll not only be no more Democratic Underground, there'll be no democracy. Pretty plain and simple, folks.
