If that is the case, I sincerely hope that she chooses a VP that, if it's not Obama himself, it is someone who is young, energetic and has the ability to inspire like Obama does. Imho, he really need someone like Barack in the White House. Then, after 8 years, that person can continue to carry the torch.

That said, yes, I will vote for Hillary regardless (if she is the nominee) because we need to get the Republicans out of there.

Hillary's campaign is the one that made smaller states feel unimportant, race baited, and bullied people to do their bidding.

I'm not a Democrat, so the right thing to do is to do as I see fit. Hillary will never get my vote.

The party is divided. There are Democrats, and potential allies of Democrats, who will rally behind neither of the current two. To pretend that the fracture of the party is the fault of HRC (or Obama, for that matter,) is disingenuous.

If Hillary does not get the nomination the seniors/women over 40 will react - but not loudly.

If Obama gets nomination and Hillary is dissed by Obama and not given VP, as I expect and others on DU demand, the seniors/women over 40 will react more strongly and in larger numbers - but again not loudly.

we all know who we want to win already...but I can tell you this when I came back here in November (after football was done for my team) I saw thread after thread of propagandizing by Clinton supporters-it even got to the point when you could almost tell when certain people would "punch in". That turned this Edwards supporter off to see paid Clinton staffers working the board. I ended up choosing Obama over Clinton party because of the way I saw then and STILL see Clinton operatives working. Unfortunately for her campaign we aren't stupid people here-we sniffed them out in 10 seconds flat every time.

but If Obama is the nominee I most certainly will vote for him. We cannot take 8 more years of the same shit we have right now. What on earth is the alternative. These Reagan Republicans? It would be nice to get their votes back I suppose....... but if not possible........ who cares. Barack is getting millions of new people interested in politics and registered to vote. We should be more involved with Obama Dems than trying to win back Reagan Dems. Another talking point I have seen is that a lot of these new Obama supporters only support him, and not the party. Well I think the party has to earn that support..... if you registered to vote at 32 like my friend Rob did this past January just to vote for Obama in the NYS primary, You didn't register to be a party-line voter. Furthermore, if you see a large contingent of other people in the primary shitting all over Barack Obama, you are even less likely to support others in the party.
