9. Oh, bullshit. Everyone knew that was a vote for war.

Stop trying to parse it or apologize for it. A whole list of our brave Democratic Senators (and 1 Independent, and 1 Republican) were able to see through that cheap smokescreen and did what was right.

The primary blame lies with Bush, but everyone who voted for the IWR was an enabler, and at the very least, if they want this nation to trust them with its security, they should -as John Edwards did- acknowledge that the vote was a MISTAKE.
