Obama declared his candidacy just over a year ago. If the Clinton Campaign spent 1/2 of a percent of its money doing background checks on Obama, that would amount to roughly $600,000. Presumably every Clinton supporter from Bill on down has been checking with contacts trying to find dirt. The Rezko connection has been examined over and over by different organizations. After all this, the worst anyone could find is that maybe Obama is ambitious and his pastor wasn't politically correct?

If all they have is a form of the southern strategy, with it's inherent risk of alienating a critical voting block (sort of a 'nuclear' option), I would say Obama is 'vetted'.

Why isn't the media talking about the trial coming up in Oct. '08 for Peter Paul who says he gave the Clinton's $2 million that they didn't report?

Why isn't the sale of HRC's campaign mailing list being questioned more to a huge Indian-American supporter named Gupta who had flown Hillary and Bill on private trips and given Bill a 3 million bonus for consulting and Gupta's investors filed a court case because of this?
