Identity politics is destroying the Democratic party before our very eyes
Does anyone not think that if Democrats had a strong white guy candidate that this 2008 Presidential election would be all over but the counting? Instead, we now have whites and blacks, men and women, all threatening blackmail. Maybe it's time for this party to break up rather than have a cold civil war.

8. Fortunately we have an internationally respected and
experienced statesman waiting in the wings who could salvage the party and the election. Al Gore.

5. What we need to promote is lack of identity politics
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 10:13 PM by BeyondGeography
We can pretend history and reality don't exist. We can be Republicans.

6. The Pandora's box is open in the Democratic party
The USA's fixing to become politically one big New York City. By reframing the 2008 election about race, the Democrats have saved the Republican party.
