This is what the next president will inherit...

A ruined economy, an out-of-control war in the Middle East, a culture of hatred here at home and a lot of sick and dying people without health insurance. Sometimes, my optimism is tempered when I realize what's up ahead.

I don't see the point of arguing about who the Democratic candidate will be because I'm too worried about the future of this country in general. Are there any optimists out there to cheer me up this morning?

2. Sorry, no cheering here, just agreement...the state of this country

will be so bad it will take more than 4 years to right it...and since voters in general are fickle, the one who wins the White House in November will get blamed 4 years later when things still aren't so hot.
