Bad News for Barack Hussien; First Iowa and now Pelosi .... he is doomed!

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Democrat Barack Obama expanded his fragile lead in delegates over rival Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday, picking up nine delegates as Iowa activists took the next step in picking delegates to the national convention.

More than half the 14 delegates allocated to John Edwards on the basis of caucus night projections switched Saturday to Obama.

Iowa Democratic Party officials said that with all of the delegates picked, Obama claimed 52 percent of the delegates elected at county conventions on Saturday, compared with 32 percent for Clinton. Some of the delegates picked at Saturday's conventions were sticking with Edwards, even though he's dropped from the race since Iowa held its caucuses in January.

Democratic Party projections said the results mean Obama increased by nine the number of delegates he collects from the state, getting a total of 25 compared with 14 for Clinton and six for Edwards.

Pelosi's Delegate Stance Boosts Obama

By DAVID ESPO – 17 hours ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says it would be damaging to the Democratic party for its leaders to buck the will of national convention delegates picked in primaries and caucuses, a declaration that gives a boost to Sen. Barack Obama.

"If the votes of the superdelegates overturn what's happened in the elections, it would be harmful to the Democratic party," Pelosi said in an interview taped Friday for broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week."

The California Democrat did not mention either Obama or his rival, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, by name. But her remarks seemed to suggest she was prepared to cast her ballot at the convention in favor of the candidate who emerges from the primary season with the most pledged delegates.

Barring an unlikely string of landslide victories by the former first lady in the remaining states, he will end the primary season with a delegate lead, but short of the 2025 needed to win the nomination.

3. Since the state of...
...Massanornexoridachussetsiconica with it's 570 delegates at stake decided to hold its primary in late June. And Hillary is very much favored there. All she has to do is win by 65%, get Florida and Michigan seated as-is, and get all of the super delegates to switch to her and she's got this nailed down. Feel that wind? It's the swift strong breeze of Ms. Inevitability!

4. And just exactly why do you feel you have to say
Barack Hussien in your subject line? Please don't answer, "Because it is his middle name." I find this offensive and baiting. You could say Barack Obama, or Barack, or Obama. You can certainly have your opinion for whom you support, but don't be so hateful. BTW, Obama didn't choose this name for himself. He was given this name at birth. Do you use McCain's middle name when talking about him? I'm sure most of us don't even know what it is. Is it "W"???

7. At least spell the name correctly
people forget about what a great statesman King Hussein of Jordan was. He even left the chemo therapy to attend Clinton's Middle East peace talks.

8. Hussein also means handsome boy too.
If after all the terror crap American elect a man whose
middle name is Hussein that would say a lot of good things
about our America.

p.s. thanx for the correction

9. As someone who is deeply angry
over the narrowing of the field so early in the game, I wish those Edwards delegates would stick to Edwards. Most of the nation didn't get a chance to affect the delegate count from their own state. For those that did...let them stand.
