Rasmussen daily graph for 3/16/08 - Obama up 1 (47), Clinton down 1 (44)
The world begins to right itself again.

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

Gallup daily poll will eventually show up here:

These Rasmussen graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html

1. Poor, poor hill supporters
how tragic for them that he isn't plunging. How delightful for sane people.

7. I know. I feel so bad for them.
They have been absolutely elated with their posts about Obama in a tailspin, the wheels coming off Obama's bus, Obama's plane crashing into the mountain, put a fork in Obama, etc., etc. It gives them so much joy to try to destroy the Democratic frontrunner.

It's going to be very hard for them to come to grips with the fact that Obama still has a commanding lead in delegates, still has the most votes, and isn't dropping out of the race.

3. When you look at these graphs, it's surprising that anyone is excited or upset one day's change
There always odd jumps and dips, usually small but sometimes eyecatching. But it's the longer-term trend that counts, and that trend has been clear.

Those voters see right through this story, I guess. Still keeping my fingers crossed though...
