McCain will be "tarred" as a George Bu$h Republican.

5. Gregory's right -- I think we are going to glue McCain to Bush, and
Bush is decidedly unpopular.

Actually, even if we didn't glue him to Bush, he's usually busy gluing HIMSELF to Bush.

Either way, "Maverick" John McCain is a fictional character and we're going to whip the real John McCain.

6. But to say we are going to tar him?
He tied himself to the bu$h regime with all they hugs and ass kissing and pandering to the bu$h doctrine.
He did this to himself, we are just going to make sure the voters know what it will cost them.

7. Ja -- I like any hard-boiled effort to associate McCain with the Bush
failed war policy generally and the surge especially.

And hell, while we're at it, let's hit McCain hard on everything else as well.

I really don't care much for John McCain's voting record.

8. did anyone hear bradley mention the 'republics and democrats'?
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 11:06 AM by ellenfl
i swear he dropped the 'an' from republicans. i almost fell out of my seat. had to rewind and listen again.

i think david gregory has a great opportunity to keep bush and mccain together in people's minds with his new show. i know i should not wish for more partisan punditry but we are so outgunned! i DO believe in fairness but that will have to wait until after november.

Tar is that thing which is impossible to get off of you. (As anyone who has encountered real tar can attest)
