So, someone said on here that Rev Wright left on vacation
in the last couple of days. Interesting, isn't it? Is this kind of like when Obama asked him NOT to give the invocation at his Presidential campaign announcement in Springfield? Why are they hiding this man?

31. When CNN covered this story first, on Thursday night, they reported
that they had attempted to contact Rev. Wright for comment, but "he is reportedly on vacation."

Since then, there have been multiple reports of his being "on vacation" as reporters try to contact him.

Otherwise, it wouldn't bother you when a pastor talks about God judging countries as well as individuals.

5. Why Are You Picking On A Retired, Black Preacher
who dares to speak the truth? That is the real question? Shame on you!

You must have missed Penn's latest directive. It's back to portraying Hillary as a victim. Guess they have run out of ammo and have to start over.

Meanwhile, people are still being killed in Iraq, Afghanistan is a friggen mess, our rights are being eroded and we are going bankrupt. But, by all means, you hunt down the preacher.

You better tell your candidate Mr Obama. He said the Rev used "incendiary language". Don't you believe Mr. Obama?

Both can be true. In your case though, the incendiary posts are false.

10. Probably becajse the two usual explanations in cases like this--
1. "I'm stepping down to spend more time with my family."
2. "I'll be going into rehab as soon as I can pack."

wouldn't quite work.

20. Rev. Wright is taking a one year sabbatical
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 05:51 PM by Donna Zen
The sabbatical was planned long before Fox decided to trash him, and seems to be part of the the Reverend's farewell tour before his official retirement begins. His replacement has already taken over the church.

Next week, Reverend Wright will be honored by the Texas Divinity School. March 29th, a date that was set before Fox news. It is a thing of beauty that the school won't back down.

I bet that Fox news will not be airing Rev. Wright's call to worship:

Beautiful are the works of God! Beautiful are the skins of God's people! Beautiful is the mind of God! Beautiful are the hopes of God's people!

Yesterday I took some and researched both the UCC church and the body of Rev. Wright's work. Cripe, I'm a Universalist, a church where Jesus is rarely mentioned in the sermon, but before I formed any judgment, I actually listened to Rev. Wright....the whole sermon. Ya' know, he's very good.
