Reporter saw Obama nod in agreement during Wright hate white america sermon
If you think this story is going away, you are out of your fucking mind.

http://newsmax.com/kessler/Obama_hate_America_sermon/2008/03/16/80870.html

In his sermon that day, Wright tore into America, referring to the “United States of White America” and lacing his sermon with expletives as Obama listened. Hearing Wright’s attacks on his own country, Obama had the opportunity to walk out, but Davis said the senator sat in his pew and nodded in agreement.

39. Same freak hack who claims DU has seized control of Wikipedia
Yep, read it and laugh.

]Newcomers who try to put Wikipedia's "neutral point of view" into practice on sensitive political subjects are often shouted down, or baited into committing rules infractions that lead to a lifetime ban.

Wikipedia members from Democratic Underground and MoveOn.org have the power, the numbers and the seniority. They can win any argument about content, either through mob tactics or a well-placed block by a friendly administrator. The rules and policies form an online minefield, and they derive immense satisfaction from baiting newbies into that minefield.

Editors are recruited from Democratic Underground. The author of the recruiting drive, Ben Burch, is the Webmaster of a site whose motto is "Fighting the Rise of the New Fascism."

Articles about politically delicate subjects such as the war in Iraq, the dismissal of seven U.S. attorneys, and Republican politicians and conservative organizations have been turned into hatchet jobs.

Herman, although you may have registered here 2 years ago, your posting history is recent, and your agenda is now fully transparent. You've jumped the shark, and repeatedly within the last few days, you've violated DU rules by posting articles from and linking to Newsmax. I would encourage others to contact Skinner as I am about to do myself.

47. Generally speaking
I don't see a lot of bull shit in what the man has to say. Of course, he may benefit from some anger management... and his statements go a little far in implicating white people as a whole - using a rather broad brush. But other than that... well.., fuck, we DID slaughter thousands and thousands of innocent people. By we, of course, I mean the general "we", and am not referring to any specific race, gender, Nationality or religion. So he's an outspoken preacher... we could use a few more of those with similar views.

God forbid a man in service to a God he believes in would actually follow that God's teachings. Not that I care for religion one way or another, as an agnostic. I just don't think that one out-spoken preacher should have much effect on the primary.

Maybe Obama nodded in agreement.. but it's likely that I would have done the same.

63. If you think any real politician is actually religious
you're delusional. They're just faking it to appeal to the masses who remain shackled by ignorant and irrational superstition. Obama, like every other serious politician is probably an atheist. He's probably just pretending to be religious. Nodding his head every now and then to look like he's paying attention. I know that I'd do that. I know that I do that around more conservative relatives just to avoid argument. No educated person could possibly believe in some magical sky man. It's just too damn silly.

69. Why do Clinton supporters at DU continue to site Newsmax "articles" as authority against Obama?
I find it disturbing that the Clinton supporters are resorting to Newsmax as a source of information. I confess, I support Obama. But you can review my posts and I assure you that I would never post a newsmax story that bashes Sen. Clinton (and there have been many BS stories about her on that site). Also, why can't Sen. Clinton just win on her own merits instead of crossing her fingers and hoping that her opponent screws up and has to leave?

That type of campaign strategy will never win an general election. You need to win on your own acts and deeds - not waiting for someone else to solve the problem for you.

71. I tell you what Herman, you think this is helping your candidate, guilt by association
the association of the Clintons have hardly been discussed in this election cycle, and what comes around will go around

and if as you continue the swift boating of Obama, if your candidate, wins the nomination, just wait till they start reviving the sexual affairs of bill clinton, or Hillary's hedge fund activities.

Your candidate will go down in flames

74. Kristol Fails To Check His Sources, And So Bungles Key Fact In Anti-Obama Column
The error is in trusting the source without checking.
The truth is that Obama did not attend church on July 22.
He was on his way to campaign in Miami.

75. Newsmax was founded in 1998 and funded by Scaife. Remember that "right wing conspiracy" Hillary
referred to? Include Newsmax as a part of that from its beginning. Now it's considered/cited as a legit "news" source by some of her supporters? Bizarre.

76. Reporter saw Obama nod in agreement during Wright hate white america sermon
My wife and I sat in front of the TV on Friday night in horror. We had both been committed Obama supporters. Obama is no longer an option. Racism is racism no matter who is spewing it. We would not vote for Hillary under any circumstances based mostly upon the baggage she brings to the table.

How did we let this happen? I am sick.
