And to think the Clintons used to visit black churches all the time...
something tells me they're not going to be welcome back anytime soon.

The enormous amount of goodwill once bestowed upon Bill & Hillary by the African-American community is history. The Clintons have shown they will do ANYTHING to win, including stabbing their most loyal supporters in the back.

1. How did they stab anyone in the back? Oh, by running for Prez?
Yeah, how dare Hillary run when a black man was running.

This is just silly.

3. Yep, Rush Limbaugh can't see it either ...
congratulations. I hear he's Hillary's biggest fan now.

2. So, now the Clinton's are to blame for
"God Damn America?"

Sounds about right.

4. No, they're to blame for trying to attribute that to Sen. Obama ...
and fanning the flames of racial hate in this country.

6. Your blinders are on a 'lil tight
I'm sure you have proof that "they're to blame" correct?

9. Culpable denial, the last refuge of the politically devious ...
a tactic the Clintons have refined to an art form.

Glad to see you're onboard with the strategy. Good luck with that.

11. What is this, like their fourth attempt to make Obama "too black"?
Hilarious.

5. That is exactly what she did
not because of Obama but because the greed for POWER over ruled their once expressed "love" for our community.

Most of my fellow African Americans are sincerely shocked and hurt that the Clinton's have betrayed us.

It feels like you feel when a family member that you loved, gave money to and stood in line to vote for, betrays you.

That is the kind of hurt that is hard to bounce back from.

No,he did nothing to shame her with anyone, he has been a gentlemen even when she was doing RING RINGS and giving hugs to McCain.

He was and still remains a gentleman.

He has taken the high road in this campaign.

8. Exactly... Sen. Obama could have played the "guilt by association" card ...
and Lord knows the Clintons have rubbed elbows with some unsavory characters (check WJC's pardon list for starters).

There is no way HRC can win the nomination AND the general election, having lowered herself to the racist, slimeball politics we currently see on display.

And you hit the nail on the head regarding the sense of betrayal. I expected to hear this BS from the GOP ... not the Clintons.

7. Given the Clinton's treatment of AA's in this campaign, Hillary has ZERO chance of winning in the GE

10. They'll never eat lunch in that town again. Exactly.
If she gets the nomination (when hell freezes over), black voters will leave this party in droves.

12. Not sure about leaving the party ...
but if the Clintons continue to dominate the party, it could very well happen.

They have abused their power, and now they need to step aside. If not, the prize really won't be worth having.

14. I can't speak for all of my people
but I can speak for my circle of friends.

We will not vote for Hillary unless Barack personally tells us to and explains the reason why.

I can see him doing that if she were to be his VP but I can't see that happening unless she stands up in all the African American churches and has an Q and A for at least an hour.

Unless she tells America what a fool she has been and those tricks she did were only done to get POWER ~ that won't happen so therefore, I for one will stay home and not vote.

I will not vote for McCain nor Nader

I might write in Obama on my ballot if allowed to do that but she will not get one dime and no time from goclark or my friends!
Fool us once
Fool us twice
But she has exposed her true colors to us colored people!

Slavery ended in 1865 but she and her supporters didn't get the news yet. We got it!

15. She was beginning to get pressure from the party to drop out.
Imho, that's what this last piece of ugliness was meant to cover.

I knew she would be bad but I didn't know she would be hateful.

17. This weekend, Pelosi was on a talk show and said, in essence,
that the Clinton campaign needs to fold up the tent.

There was a thread here about it this morning -- The first two words were "emerging consensus".
