Put the d*** donkey in a suit and I'd vote for it!!!
Anyone else remember that our country is facing full-blown crisis?

Bush lied us into an expensive, reckless, never-ending war. To pay for it, we borrowed trillions from China.

Bush and company ran around yelling free market, free market when loosening lending regulations. They turned a blind eye to companies who play shell games to avoid paying US taxes as they ship American factories and American jobs overseas.

Now that financial institutions are failing, these same free marketers are tripping over themselves to bail them out.

In the meantime, regular folks are losing their jobs, homes, and their retirement as the stock market falls. Who is bailing them out?

Bush has stripped us of civil liberties, stacked our courts with right wing surrogates, and crushed anybody who dared to "blow the whistle" against them or their policies.

Bush and company: if it ain't Iraq or Iran, it doesn't matter. So we are now faced with escalating tensions all through the Middle East, the potential for real trouble in Central & Eastern Europe. And much of the rest of the world ain't looking that stable right now, either.

I could go on but it's too depressing.

McCain is a continuation and escalation of all the disaster that came with Bush. We need the trifecta to save the country we all love. We need to expand our majority in the house, get a *real* majority in the Senate, and put a Democrat in the White House.

And like I said, I don't care if Barack, Hillary, or the damn donkey trots out of the convention as our nominee, I'll be 100% on board.

I have to be.

We all have to be.

1. Would you vote for Lieberman? Be honest, do he change THAT
much from where he was in 2000? Is it at all possible that some people stayed home because they thought that Gore was too much like Lieberman and therefore wasn't that different from George Bush?

3. Lieberman is not a Democrat
And the meme that too many people believed in 2000 was that Gore and Bush were essentially the same ("Tweedledee and Tweedledum"). And we're still paying for that.

Remember, Lieberman at the time (pre-911) didn't have the negative (to liberals) reputation he has today. He was viewed almost universally as a good choice for VP, because his domestic policies were mostly progressive. Still are, frankly, with the exception of his obsession with porn.
