I lived through the dark cloud of the internecine conflict which scarred the island of Ireland for decades. This, thank God, has now ended and we live in a peaceful and super-rich society. And this situation would never have been arrived at were it not for the pivotal role of the Clintons (yes, *both* of them) in the Irish Peace process. As is typical of this woman of maturity and integrity she has not made a song and dance of it. But I for one would not begrudge her using it in an election context to outline her experiential bona fides.
