10. The haters believe he's an alien. To me the Wright thing has been a net gain for him because 1.) he

...is no longer a Muslim, 2.) he gets to talk about his faith in a realistic (no opportunistic) sense letting everyone know reThuglicans aren't "Gods" party, 3.) the more people know Obama and the more he gets out in front the more people will see that he's "presidential"

He needs to lean into it and explain it. I have been to the church a couple of times and I "get" black churches. A lot of people won't but its high time they learn. Nothing Wright said is really all that different from the things we say on DU- its just packaged differently. But it falls hard on the ears of some people. He will get through it.
